FreeSpell is a free Spell checker app that works with any Windows program. Everything you need to use FreeSpell is included, as is a demo/shareware copy of ProSpell, which offers more features than FreeSpell. You can download additional dictionaries after you install FreeSpell. 

By default the installer places the program in "C:\program files" but if you use a custom writable location the installation is 100% portable.
